I am happy to announce that Miranda Martini will play from 6pm-7pm! Miranda Martini is an award-winning essayist, playwright and singer-songwriter based out of Calgary. She has just returned to her hometown after completing a Masters of Songwriting in Bath, England, where she recorded a new album, Calendar, exploring seasons, holidays and special occasions. In August 2014, she collaborated with songwriter Kris Demeanor on original songs for Cheryl Foggo's musical play 'John Ware Reimagined.' She also performed in the show, which had a sold out run in Calgary. She is inspired by expressions of the multiracial experience in Canada, social justice, stray cats, and Stampede breakfasts.
