A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play
Twelfth Night Production (TNP) is proud to present A Christmas Carol A Live Radio Play this holiday season. TNP's Holiday Radio plays have become an annual tradition for community members seeking to revel in holiday cheer with their friends and family. Previous radio show productions have included It's A Wonderful Life, and Miracle on 34th Street. This holiday season, join us for a retelling of the classic A Christmas Carol, brought to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. Experience the magic of season as the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future visit our hero Ebenezer Scrooge to teach him about generosity, love and the power of giving. As always, our radio program will begin with an original short featuring Dick Doubleheart and the Twelfth Night Comedy Mystery Playhouse, written by John Ruoff. Our cast of talented Radio players also includes our incredible Foley (sound effects) actors, the wonderful 1929 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, and our Fabulous Mistletones sharing traditional carols before the show. "If you close your eyes during this production you won't miss a beat because all of the components the sound effects, the organ, the commercials, and the Mistletones work together successfully to recreate the live radio experience of the 1940's and 50's." Drama in the Hood, December 2013.
