Magnificat!
Magnificat! - an evening to celebrate the joy of the season. Hear the Wisconsin Chamber Choir, in its 18th season, present a rich tapestry of choral music from the Renaissance through the 21st century, with a world premiere of a sublimely beautiful setting of "Out of Your Sleep" by Peter Bloesch. The choir will also perform works by J.S. Bach, Homilius, Zelenka, Schütz, Arvo Pärt, Howells, and Stephen Paulus. Dr. Robert Gehrenbeck conducts the Wisconsin Chamber Choir, ably assisted by Mark Brampton Smith on the organ. Grace Episcopal is located across from Madison's Capitol dome. Children 12 and under are free at this concert and do not need a ticket. Tickets for adults and students will be an additional $5 at the door, so buy in advance for the best price!
