Gina Salá Winter Solstice Kirtan Benefit with special guest Steve Gorn
The sun and the moon unite us all in their sweet cycles. Let's celebrate the night and chant in the returning light of Solstice together in a special evening of chant, story and raga December 19th. This will be a special benefit with a portion of the proceeds going to a wonderful organization Facing Homelessness. I have just returned with new chants and fresh energy leading my annual India tour and my sabbatical there, happy to share with you. My bansuri maestro Steve Gorn, whom I also tour with, will be flying in from New York as a special guest. We are so looking forward to sharing in the good vibes with you all.
Come as you are, participate as you like as we share in some deep sacred call and response chants with a full band featuring Anil Prasad, Stephen Metcalf and others!

Facing Homelessness-- As a grass-roots movement, we hope to spread our message far and wide. Our mission is to remove the negative stereotype against those living on our streets. We believe the conversation about homelessness needs to be both an intellectual one, grounded in knowledge about the complexities, and an emotional one, informed by personal experiences. http://www.facinghomelessness.org/
