Harvey Wainapel Quintet

A week after returning home from 2 months in Brazil, Harvey Wainapel brings his
all-star jazz quintet to the Sound Room. Wainapel has played with McCoy Tyner,
Airto Moreira & Flora Purim, Ray Charles, Joe Lovano, Jovino Santos Neto,
and many other jazz & Brazilian greats, as well as presenting his own music in 22 countries.

Harvey relentlessly pursues his curiosity for music, touring the globe,
absorbing sound and rhythm, meeting and collaborating with musicians, and bringing
it altogether with thoughtful group interplay. This particular ensemble is a top Bay Area
combo of hard-listening, expressive players who love playing together!
