Trio Arkel Presents "Europa"!
For our final concert of Season 3, Trio Arkel explores Europe, named after the goddess Europa. A playful and virtuosic first half with works by Hummel and Jean Cras gives way to the depth of Kodaly and Penderecki's Quartet for Clarinet and Strings, a profound work composed in 1993. Our guest artist, Yao Guang Zhai, is the Associate Prinicipal Clarinet of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and a sought-after soloist and chamber music on three continents.
Each concert presented by Trio Arkel begins with an informational talk at 6:45 P.M., given by founding member Marie Berard.
