Albany Consort Revisits Vivaldi Seasons
"What if Bach and Rameau had chanced upon Vivaldi's manuscript? What would they have done?"
We present chamber music versions of Vivaldi's Spring and Summer Concertos as Bach and Rameau might have re-imagined these famous pieces. Plus some Telemann, Handel and Forqueray to complete the program.
The minimalist virtuoso quartet to render these pieces consists of Jonathan Salzedo (harpsichord), Marion Rubinstein (recorder), Laura Rubinstein-Salzedo (violin) and Roy Whelden (viola da gamba).
This concert is promoted as a fundraiser for upcoming Albany Consort productions.
This performance is in a private home in South Palo Alto. Once the tickets are purchased, the address will be sent to you.
