The Spring Fling
After a long winter, your local derby chicks are ready to tear up the track! Get your tickets early for the Spring Fling, where the Naughty Pines Derby Dames (NPDD) of Laramie will be taking on the Powder River Roustabout It Betties (PRRB) of Gillette in their season home opener! The bout will take place Saturday, April 28 at the Laramie Ice and Events Center at 3510 Garfield Street. Doors wil...l open at 6:00pm and the bout will begin at 7:00pm. The NPDD is teaming up with the Laramie Youth Crisis Center (LYCC) for Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month. The Pines will be raising money to help the LYCC replace twelve mattresses in their emergency shelter. Tickets are $10 pre-sale or $12 at the door. Kids 7 and under get in free. Tickets will be available at Kum & Go and Atmosphere Mountainworks, as well as online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/240709.
