Deerfield Academy Theater proudly presents its Fall 2015 Production, "The Children's Hour."
Explosive and scandalous, "The Children's Hour" is one of the great successes of distinguished writer, Lillian Hellman. Set in a girl's boarding school in the 1930s, a malicious student starts a rumor about the two women who run the school. The rumor soon turns to scandal which precipitates tragedy for the women. It is later discovered that the gossip was pure invention, but it is too late. Irreparable damage has been done.
