Introduction to Field Photography at Pepperwood Preserve
Want to capture that special shot while in the great outdoors? Learn the basics of field photography and camera usage with Jerry Corsi, professional photographer and co-owner of Focus on Nature. Experience Pepperwood's woodland, grassland, and wetland habitats, practicing the art of observation and sharpening your photography skills for documenting landscape, flora, and fauna. Topics and demonstrations include composition, lighting, exposure, camera supports, use of different digital formats, and digital manipulation. Open to photographers and naturalists at all levels of experience with a single lens reflex camera (SLR) or an advanced point and shoot camera that allows for manual adjustment of aperture and speed. Jerry's work has been featured in a number of publications including National Geographic. This class includes a moderate hike of 1-3 miles at a slow pace.
