In celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Hans Christian Andersen and Mulan come together to bring you the story of The Nightingale. Concert goers will also enjoy selections from Carmen and popular Asian folks songs.

What are Fairy Tale Concerts?

With vibrant storytellers and expressive musical instruments, hear classic children's fairy tales come to life through a beautiful combination of storytelling and classical music. Fairy Tale Concerts were created in an effort to educate our children in a fun and engaging way. These concerts are an wonderful way to introduce young people to classical music through the art of storytelling and the encouragement of using their imaginations.

Fairy Tale Concerts for the 2015-2016 year are made possible through a grant from the United Arts Council of Catawba County.
