Jazz-A-F!RE - October 2015
Join us in falling into some COOL Blues and HOT Jazz at the next to the last session of JAZZ-A-F!RE in 2015!! We will be jamming and jazzing it up on October 25th, 2015 from 4-7pm!
Doors will open at 3:30 pm.
You will experience the finest in straight-ahead jazz and blues presented by the Memphis Black Arts Alliance's FireHouse Community Arts Center while you enjoy bar & food service from Memphis Sounds Grill at 22 North Third St. below the Econo Lodge Hotel.
(Stair Challenged may enter via ramp from the rear entrance in Court St Parking Garage)
This month's Jazz-A-F!RE will be featuring the amazing vocals of Cequita "Monique" from Precious Cargo.
Accompanying her will be the Jazz-A-F!RE Band, consisting of FireHouse Academy faculty member, Kent Suggs (bass), along with other members of Prime Cut Band Audie Smith (piano) and Andre' Holman (drums).

BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument)
As always, amateur and professional musicians and singers are invited to BYOI and sit in and jam with the band during the final hour. You'll be amazed at the talent that will be shown on stage - it'll be enough to make you get up and DANCE!!
