This excellent choral group will sing rarely heard Yiddish and Ladino folk music, liturgical works, Psalms and songs and chant from many centuries.
Since ancient days Jewish texts have mourned, celebrated and questioned. We will explore this world through rarely-heard Yiddish and Ladino folk music, liturgical works, Psalms and songs and chant from many centuries. Featuring Ivor Davies' "Prayers from the Ark," and works by Milhaud, Mendelssohn, Weill, Rossi, Zimpel, Schönberg, Weill, and premieres by award-winning composer Robin Estrada, and our (under-30) New Voices Project winner.
