Elizabeth's Story:
Elizabeth, an oncologist, has dedicated the last 13 years of her career comforting, supporting and guiding cancer patients through their experience. Now she needs our support. With an unexpected and sudden diagnosis of breast cancer, Elizabeth is now in the care of many great doctors. In the last six months, Elizabeth has endured a double mastectomy and 12 chemotherapy treatments. Over the next two months, she will undergo 33 daily treatments of radiation.
Just nine months before her diagnosis, Elizabeth and her husband Jason emptied their savings to adopt a beautiful baby boy. Carter Armstrong White is now 16 months old and is the center of their lives. After his arrival, they both took unpaid time off of work to be parents.
Let's help Elizabeth stay on track financially through all this. Even with insurance, there are many out of pocket expenses that quickly add up. If your heart desires, please join us for this event or make a donation in support of Elizabeth and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
