White Christmas - 2015 Fox Theatre Film Series
Historic Fox Theatre Restorations is proud to announce the next film in its 2015 Movie Series, White Christmas, sponsored by Windermere Real Estate.
In this 1954 romantic comedy musical, singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys' commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. So what's the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that's sure to put Waverly and his business in the black!
Showtimes on Saturday, December 5, are at 2 and 7 pm at the Fox Theatre in Historic Downtown Centralia, 123 South Tower Avenue. As an additional treat, Fred Beeks will be on hand to play the Fox Theatre organ before each screening.
Admission for the movie is $8 per person, $7 for Members, and $20 per family (three to four persons).
