Voices Through Time and Eternity
The program presents the SFVMaster Chorale under the direction of Terry Danne, assisted by Dr. Donald Caldwell. This concert will feature the Master Chorale in Mary E. Caldwell's cantata entitled "Of Time and Eternity" and will be conducted by her son, Dr. Donald Caldwell. The work parellels the life of Christ with the seasons. Lindsay Patterson, Soprano, will be the featured soloist. In addition, the Chorale and orchestra will perform an eclectic mix of pieces including the Bach cantata "Christ lag in Todesbandern" and the Debussy "Trois Chansons'. Soloists include: Kate Palmer, Soprano; Joane Franks, Mezzo Soprano; Teresa Danne, Mezzo Soprano; Michelle Hoisch, Soprano; Tanya Edwards, Soprano; Kevin Story, Tenor; John St. Marie, Tenor; Michael Louaillier, Tenor; and Norge Yip, Bass.
Representative works by Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Weill, Terry Danne, Albert Hay Malotte, Dwight Elrich, W.A. Mozart, J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, an Mary E. Caldwell.
