Free Fall is a brief interlude at Open Eye to present four artists in a three-week period. These works are from both emerging artists, fine-tuning their work, and mature artists that embrace the thrill of jumping off the creative cliff in a free fall with new works to be put in front of an adventurous audience.

DEVON by Zoe Sommers Haas
Devon, by Zoe Sommers Haas creates an empathetic world where Devon, as a young man, moves into his first apartment filled with anticipation and wild with the imaginings of an unknown life of new independence. A tour de force performance by Zoe Sommers Haas with Noah Sommers Haas. Created originally for the Naked Stages program at the Pillsbury house in 2013.
WEEK 2 - Nov. 12-14
...exactly like that by Laurie Van Wieren
Van Wieren is back on stage with new work of overwhelming persistent movement and stillness as she delves into remembering and forgetting her science and fiction history of making dance.
Seeing Double by Michael Montenegro
A man finds himself face to face with his former self. Is he dead and contemplating who he was in life or an older self contemplating his youth? Performing two new pieces in development, Mr. Montenegro has an uncanny ability to perform solo shows that always have two characters of which neither are him.
WEEK 3 - Nov. 19-21
Look Down on Me by Michael Sommers
Sommers travels through the ephemera of lost objects and memories of a humiliated past, in hopes to revert the brute beast to a humbled human state. Join Michael Sommers in this pilgrimage of humility. Sections of the performance will be outside. Dress appropriately. Performed by Michael Sommers with Blake Love.
