Scary Story Night 2015
On this dark and scary Friday in late October, we're proud to present the Seventeenth Annual SCARY STORY NIGHT. This evening of spooky Native tales will be hosted by the well-known storytelling trio of Joseph, James, and Jesse Bruchac. The first performance will focus on stories that may be a bit frightening, but not too scary for smaller children. The second performance will include some truly terrifying tales, including readings from Joseph and James Bruchac's best known books. The event will also include our annual pre-carved Pumpkin Contest. Ages 12 and under may vie for prizes in the following categories: Scariest, Most Original and Funniest Jack-o-Lanterns. Parents are invited to bring in their child's pre-carved pumpkins by 6:30 pm for judging. Stories will be held outdoors for the second half, so dress for warmth. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held strictly indoors. Light refreshments will be offered including cider, cookies and donuts.
