DOUBLE HEADLINE COMEDY WITH SCOTT HANSEN AND JEFF GERBINO
You will be rolling with gut-splitting laughter with Scott Hansen, Jeff Gerbino.Over 50 national TV credits combines with Award winning comedy! That's no joke!
Scott and Jeff are both credited with starting comedy in Minnesota. They were two of just a handful of comedians (that included Louie Anderson) to star in Minnesota's very first showcase of standup comedians at a small bar named "Mickey Finns".
Scott and Jeff bring the experience of thousands of successful performances, millions of laughing audience members and dozens of appearances on national television to a chance of a lifetime comedy show.
SCOTT HANSEN began doing comedy when he was five years old. Unknown to his parents, Scott was listening and memorizing the comedy records that were discreetly played at family gatherings.
His first performance was in first grade as he quoted adult comedian Rusty Warren in Catholic school. Since then the unprecedented, 5-time winner of the Minnesota Comedian of the Year award has made millions laugh with successful national TV appearances on HBO, Showtime, A&E and E!.
Scott has developed and created two pilots and a series for Comedy Central including " Access America" which starred Fred Willard, Digest America and "Seriously Weird Magazine", which starred Joel Hodgson (Mystery Science Theatre 3000). He has written comedy material that has been performed on the "Tonight Show" or "David Letterman" by Jay Leno, Louie Anderson and Roseanne Barr.
JEFF GERBINO moved from New York to Minneapolis, MN. in the 1970's. The reason for the move was common among young men of the '70's: love of a woman. He also had a love for comedy. The love of a woman provided a 29 year marriage and two children. The love of comedy provided the spark to a new, national comedy industry that was still a laugh embryo.
When a small bar in Nordeast Minneapolis advertised a comedy contest, Jeff was the first to sign up for the event. When the event was over he convinced the bar owner to let him do weekly shows in the blue collar room. After a few months comedians starting burrowing their way out of the paneled walls of the dingy nightclub. The St. Paul Pioneer Press called Jeff the "founding father" of the Twin Cities comedy scene as Mickey Finn's quickly became "the place to be" on Friday and Saturday nights.Jeff moved to L.A. and won the L.A. Professional Comedians Contest, appeared on HBO, Showtime, NBC.CBS and was a featured performer on Air America.
