Side Man
Side Man is a memory play about a trumpet player, his musician friends, his son, and the tumultuous relationship he has with his wife. The play is narrated by the son and drifts back and forth from the present to a time in the past when jazzmen were beloved and there was no shortage of Saturday night gigs.
