Adapting to Climate Change on North Coast Vineyards and Farms
What are likely future climatic conditions that will affect crop growing in the North Coast region of California, and how can farmers adapt? How can diversifying the farm landscape function as an adaptive strategy?
The North Coast Chapter of the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) will address these questions during this all day field event at Front Porch Farm in Healdsburg. Join us at this beautiful location on the Russian River, as we hear the most up to date information from prominent climate scientists, agriculturists, and seasoned growers.
Registration starts at 8:30, Program begins at 9 am.
