KRITZERLAND's... "The Shows of My Life - A Personal Discovery"
Everyone has their own story of how they discovered show music. Kritzerland Records' October show is from the perspective of producer/host Bruce Kimmel; how he discovered show music; and the shows and recordings that influenced him from childhood to his years as a teenager during the Golden Age of both hits and flops.
As always, the tribute series is a compendium of the known and unknown and covers such iconic shows as South Pacific, Bye Bye Birdie, The Most Happy Fella, Guys and Dolls, Gypsy, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Flower Drum Song, and Stop the World I Want to Get Off; as well as lesser known shows like Wildcat, Irma la Douce, All American, Greenwillow, and the infamous Whoop-Up.
The evening has been conceived, directed, and hosted by Kritzerland Records' CEO Bruce Kimmel who, with an uncanny wit and wry sense of humor, blends fascinating behind-the-song facts preceding each musical performance. Adryan Russ serves as Associate Producer.
The All-Star Cast includes...
William Martinez Kerry O'Malley Sami Staitman Adrienne Visnic Shannon Warne
Music Director: James Lent
