IllusionQuest featuring Illusionist David Garrity
The Meriden Humane Society is hosting a professional magic show, open to the community, on Sat. April 14, 2012 at 2pm as part of it's efforts to raise money for the Meriden Humane Society animal shelter. The performance will be held at O.H. Platt High School Auditorium, 220 Coe Avenue in Meriden, CT.
A feature of the show will be when Garrity's assistant puts her life on the line and will be cut-in-half by a member of the audience as a way to generate interest in the fundraising program. "You'll have to see if she makes it through in one piece," says Garrity.
The 75-minute show, "IllusionQuest" presented by professional illusionist David Garrity, will feature visual magic and incredible illusions. Highlights of the show will be David's assistant appearing out of thin air, a table that floats around the stage, the World's Fastest Illusion where time seems to stand still, audience participation, comedy and more!
Garrity's show has been seen around the world at theaters, resorts, casinos and at Six Flags New England in Springfield, MA for over 15 years. Highlight videos, tour dates and more information about Garrity's shows can be found at www.MagicalArtist.com
"Another highlight of the show will be when I float a child from the audience in the air," David explains. "It's just amazing, you have to see it to believe it!" "This really is a great way for people to help support their local school while enjoying themselves with their families for an evening of fun," he says.
David Garrity's "IllusionQuest" performance will be presented on Sat. April 14, 2012 at 2pm at O.H. Platt High School Auditorium, 220 Coe Avenue in Meriden, CT.
