Four Finger Five wsg Charlie Slick
Born out of the lakeshore city of Muskegon, Inside the Mitten, a concert showcase of Michigan-based musical acts created by Watermark Live and held at Watermark 920. http://www.watermarkcenter.com/920conferencecenter/
Watermark 920 is Muskegon's newest space for events and offers a stage for musical acts born from the great state of Michigan and designed to expose the artists who put their experiences of these peninsulas to music.
Artists are not chosen based on genre, rather they are chosen because they exhibit rare potential. Each concert is unique and makes for a diverse series of shows.
Past Inside the Mitten Concerts featured: The Crane Wives, Ida's Rope, Homeless Poet, 5iveit, Chantron and Funktion.
WHO: Four Finger Five presenting a tell-all look at the band and their experiences to date. Four Finger Five has a few surprises up their sleeve complete with special guests all rolled in to a Four Finger Five musical retrospective.

DETAILS: There is plenty of seating, plenty of room to dance and an ample amount of Michigan beer, and wine featured as well as a full service bar. Join us in an intimate setting enjoying an evening celebrating Michigan.

The Mitten Series is Moderated by: Lou Jeannot. Lou's ability to conduct a candid and insightful conversation with our featured acts has blown everyone away. Lou is also a co-founder of one of the most prolific record labels in Muskegon, Mux Rec.

About Four Finger Five: Muskegon's Own Four Finger Five is armed with an arsenal of tightly arranged tracks that continue to defy categorization. For the "Inside the Mitten" show Four Finger Five is arranging a tell-all look at the band and their experiences to date. Four Finger Five has a few surprises up their sleeve complete with special guests all rolled in to a Four Finger Five musical retrospective.
Four Finger Five is a force with which to be reckoned. Their sound is more satisfying than ever a fusion of The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the John Mayer Trio. They stroll out to stage in a suit and tie then command their set with a bigger than three sound expertly finessing a rapt audience.
With their new release "Soul in a Suitcase" this engrossing and trend setting act has raised the bar. ABOUT CHARLIE SLICK AND THUNDA CLAP:
Charlie Slick is a prolific musical entity often outcast by both electronic outfits and the punk rock scene. Slick has worked tirelessly to develop a cult following of teenage girls, DIY nerds, and stay-at-home moms, all of whom seem to relate to his quirky un-cool and yet showy approach to music and performance.
Slick and Thunda Clap mix homegrown electronics with rusty saxophone and dank synthesizers. In recent years, Slick has risen up from playing primarily basement dance parties to mostly larger venues, though the stage rarely keeps him off the floor. He engages the audience to dance with him--frequently shirtless, sweaty, and covered in glitter.
Slick's storied past of boombox hijacking, robots, bubble machines, light machines, rapping, and sweat inducing electronic dance party chaos, makes him hard to nail down, which even he attempts to reconcile in a simple summarizing statement: "we are not a rock n roll band, we are the tribe from 3005." www.charlieslick.com
