Funds & Figures at Hennepin History Museum
FUNDS & FIGURES Saturday, October 10, 2015 6 to 9 pm Presentation at 6:30
Please join Hennepin History Museum for our annual fundraiser! Attendees will get a sneak preview of our newest exhibition, FUNDS & FIGURES: HENNEPIN COUNTY'S FIGURE SKATING STORY. Also opening that night is an exhibition about Minneapolis Star and Tribute arts critic John Sherman.
We will be honoring JANET GERHAUSER CARPENTER, the second woman from Minnesota to compete in the Olympics ('52), and an inductee in the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Janet is a local figure skating legend, and has made her mark on Hennepin County History.
Honorary Chair for the event is Minneapolis City Council Member Elizabeth Glidden, a former HHM board member and a dedicated supporter of local history.
Enjoy a special night of food, drink, music, and fun!
Our silent auction ends at 8:30; need not be present to win.
Tickets start at $50; all proceeds benefit Hennepin History Museum. Thank you for your support!
