Fall into Healthy Habits - Seasonal Yoga and Food Workshop - SORRY, CANCELLED
Ground and prepare yourself physically and mentally for fall and winter with this seasonal holistic health workshop. Learn how to harness the power and wisdom of the seasons with yoga and ayurveda lifestyle practices. Through out the practice and lecture we'll focus on ways to: - boost your immune system to help prevent sickness during cold and flu season using ancient yogic and ayurvedic healing modalities. - prepare you for the holidays with grounding yoga poses to help relieve stress and tension and increase overall sense of well-being. - build healthy eating habits into your daily life that align with your body and the season. - increase physical and mental clarity with pranayama breath work practices. - strengthen and stimulate the core of your body to keep you warm and energized

Ingrid found yoga as a way to become more comfortable in her own body and mind. In class, she encourages each student to embrace their own unique experience of yoga and individual reason for getting on the mat. Her classes are informed by her Hatha Yoga training and refined by her therapeutic Prenatal Yoga immersion. With an emphasis on alignment and safety she strives to create an accessible space for growth and expansion in students of all levels. When she's not on the mat she inspires healthy and positive change within the Capitol Hill community as a Vegan Chef and Health Coach.
