Valerie Swift Bird stars in Sister Moon, a cabaret concert
Valerie Swift-Bird's show, entitled "Sister Moon", is an autobiographical story with music that spans a very wide range. From Broadway showstoppers and ballads from Marvin Hamlisch, Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields, contemporary tunes from Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, and Sting, to profound and enlightening songs by Jason Robert Brown and Craig Carnellia. Valerie's background runs from playing roles such as Cassie in "A Chorus Line" and Anita in "West Side Story", to numerous guest star roles on many hit TV series. Her dramatic skills are especially apparent during several of her songs, which are funny or heart warming, as well as showcasing her humorous, and emotional side, yet while others bring out her big and brassy side. Series producer, Les Michaels says, "by the end of the show you will feel like you have know Valerie all your life".
