HOT CLUB SANDWICH

Hot Club Sandwich takes you on a journey from the smokey cafes of Paris to the hipster backstreets of 1930's Harlem.

Seattle's fiery hot jazz string band, Hot Club Sandwich was founded more than ten years ago during a chance meeting on a front porch in Olympia, Hot Club Sandwich has been a West Coast leader on acoustic jazz scene ever since.

Hot Club Sandwich features Tim Wetmiller on violin, Northwest guitar veteran Ray Wood on archtop electric guitar, Matt Sircely on mandolin, Kevin Connor on guitar, James Schneider on bass, and Joseph Mascorella on drums.

With instrumentation of guitars, bass, fiddle, mandolin, light drums and vocal harmonies, Hot Club Sandwich cultivates innovation in its own fashion. Drawing heavily on the Gypsy jazz style, founded and popularized by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in the 1930s and '40s, Hot Club Sandwich incorporates other classic jazz and folkloric influences from around the world to create clever arrangements driven by adventurous improvisations.

After ten years of touring and recording, millions around the world have heard the Hot Club Sandwich on CD, radio and in live performance. Whenever Hot Club Sandwich performs in the Puget Sound region, it is common for local guests to join them onstage.
