FLYING SOLO 3: The Question of My Virginity

Yes, we will be rating these singular gems, so pay attention to the details, the nuances, the subtleties....help us to find the king or queen to reign over all soloists!
THE QUESTION OF MY VIRGINITY Tessa Hope Slovis: performer, writer Ivey Lowe: director 15 min (part of a 45-minute set of 3 exciting short solo shows)
Tessa, a comedian, begins a routine. Her act takes a turn when she begins to tell the story of one particular night; forcing her audience to question its authenticity, and even safety.
BIOGRAPHIES TESSA HOPE SLOVIS Tessa Hope Slovis is a NYC-based actor, writer, and theatre artist.
TV/Film: The Affair, Law And Order SVU, Breaking Bad, Actor Seeks Role (Winner at the Boston IFF).
Theatre: A Class Act, The Who's Tommy (Berkshire Theatre Festival), Master Matthew (Manhattan Rep), Spears: The Gospel According To Britney (The Foxwoods) , #LoveStory (NYC international Fringe Festival).
As a writer, Tessa has developed a cabaret series Swipe Right/ Swipe Left: Love in The Age Of Tinder, which she has performed to sold out audiences at The Duplex and 54 Below.

IVEY LOWE Ivey Lowe is a New York-based director, fight director, and actor.
Recent directing credits include: Last Christmas (Charley O' Leary, 24 Hour Plays), The Ascent (Jon Caren, Williamstown Theater Festival), Under the Knife (James Mendes, Amios), Fred and His Strange and Familiar Little Bobo (Donaldo Presco, Rule of 7), a reading of For The Love Of (Gina Femia, Rattlestick Theater Company), and Associate Director/Fight Director for Bareknuckle(Vertigo Theater Company).
She has recently worked in multiple of these positions with Williamstown Theater Festival, Vertigo Theater Company, The New Georges, The Wild Project, The New Ohio, IAMA Theater Company, Amios, Lather Rinse Repeat, and Writopia.
Ivey is an alumni of the Williamstown Theater Festival Directing Corps and Apprentice Program. BFA: Savannah College of Art and Design.
