The Atlanta Fringe Festival presents: FRICATIVE by Performance Gallery of Cincinnati, Ohio
Experience language liberated from linear bondage in this series of Dadaist-era sound poems. Not entirely music but more than noise, Fricative transforms actors into an onomatopoetic orchestra. Winner of the 2008 Cincinnati Entertainment Award for "Best Alternative Theatre Performance."
This trance-inducing performance made it's Atlanta debut in the inaugural 2012 Fringe Festival. A memorable staff favorite, Fringe is excited to bring FRICATIVE back for 3 nights of gibberish and nonsense sounds turned experimental soundscape.
