Kurt Cobain About a Son is a lyrical essay documentary that combines initmate audio of journalist Michael Azerrad's interviews with Kurt Cobain with footage of Cobain's home and huants in Aberdeen, Olympia, and Seattle.
In addition to Steve Fisk and Ben Gibbard, the soundtrack features music by Queen, the Melvins, Butthole Surfers, Mudhoney, Iggy Pop, R.E.M. David Bowie, The Vaselines, and more.
Ben Gibbard and 2015 Stranger Genius in Music winner Steve Fisk collaborated on creating the film's score. They will be in attendence for a post-screening conversation.
