Dream Big Comedy Show: NYC Invasion
The Dream Big Comedy Show started in Syracuse, NY by local up-and-coming comedian Anna Phillips. Now she's taking her show on the road!
Once again headlining is the hilarious Freddy Sheffield, a NYC comedy veteran. Freddy is the comedy world's best kept secret. Once an audience sees a Sheffield performance, they're convinced forever; he is one of the funniest to ever do it.
Featuring will be AJ Foster, a young comic who has been making the rounds in Upstate NY. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, AJ got his first taste of spotlight in the comedy world in 2006 while making an appearance on the MTV series Yo Momma, where he ultimately finished as a semi-finalist in the New York city competition. He began doing stand up in 2010 in Syracuse where he quickly became a fan favorite. He has been featured at Gotham Comedy Club and the Eastville Comedy Club in New York City.
Special guest Jarwan Nelson will make an appearance. His brand of comedy does not utilize heavy profanity or extremely racy "shock" content. Instead he uses his energy and creativity to weave his humor into tales that seem to keep people engaged, captivated and often laughing to the point of tears. He delivers back-to-back stories and jokes laced with wit, entertainment and style which have successfully kept audiences energized from the time he grabs the microphone until the moment he leaves the stage. Jarwan won 1st place in Rochester's Funniest Person 2011 competition, beating out 95 other comedians.
And of course Anna Phillips will be performing as well. She has performed in several venues in the northeast and most recently in the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston.
Tickets are $15 at the door. $10 online. Show starts at 10pm. Attendees should arrive at least 10 minutes before showtime. Very limited seating so it's first come, first served.
Only half of the tickets are being sold online. You will be forced to buy at the door if online tickets are sold out.
