TONY TRISCHKA PRESENTS
OF A WINTER'S NIGHT
Of A Winter's Night is Tony Trischka's banjo-driven celebration of the season.
Drawn from his critically acclaimed Rounder Records release Glory Shone Around; with this show Tony turns his considerable melodic inventiveness loose on Bluegrass and Americana music for the holidays.
This performance expands on Tony's repertoire to include new music and arrangements from his album of 2014 Of A Winter's Night, which was recorded, live at Levon Helm's Barn, Woodstock, NY.
Tony is backed by extraordinary musicians; John Mailander, Molly Tuttle, Sean Trischka and Jared Engel. Joining them are shape-note singer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Eriksen and vocalist Zoe Darrow.
A diverse, highly textural seasonal collection, Trischka also revels in songs long forgotten and little known.
Truly a sumptuous feast for the ears presented as only Tony Trischka can.
