Slam Poetry: Workshop & Performance
A chance for local poets and poets-to-be to expand their talents as writers by showing examples of professional slam poets performing nationally and teaching the basics of spoken word. Taught by the wonderful Stacey Seaman and Meghan Ramos. They both performed in the 2014 Copper State Poetry Slam and are very enthusiastic to help spread the power of local voices. Open to all ages and experience levels. After the workshop is the slam itself where you can perform and show what you've written. You have a voice and something important to say. Let us help you say it.
Workshop/Poetry Slam: 5:30pm-8pm, Admission is Free for workshop and Slam
Poetry Slam: 7pm-8pm $5 Admission/to perform
