Oyler --with-- Fitting the Description in North Portland
A Cincinnati public school fights to break the cycle of social poverty in its urban Appalachian neighborhood. Here we find student Raven Gribbins, a senior, poised to become the first in her troubled family to graduate from high school and go to college. Her story is juxtaposed with the struggles of school Principal Craig Hockenberry who finds his job is in jeopardy. Audiences are witness to what is clearly a make or break year for both of them.
