Bill Bottrell In Concert
On April 19th acclaimed musician, producer, songwriter, and performer Bill Bottrell, will perform in a one-of-a-kind acoustic solo performance to benefit KZYX. From his home in Mendocino County, Bottrell continues work with recording artists old and new, many of whom have contributed to a string of successes thus far: the recordings he has been involved with have earned 11 Grammy nominations, and his productions have sold more than 36 million records. A list of people Bill Bottrell has worked with during the last 20 years includes Michael Jackson, Traveling Wilburys, Tom Petty, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Rusted Root, Elton John, Five For Fighting, Shelby Lynne, and most recently Rosanne Cash.
This evening of solo acoustic music by Bottrell. The performance will take place Thursday evening, April 19th, 7:00pm at the Albion School, just east of Highway 1 in Albion. Doors open at 5:30pm.
Tickets are $30 and include complimentary snacks. There will also be a no-host bar, and a raffle. Tickets will be available on Tuesday, March 20, at Four-Eyed Frog Books in Gualala, Gallery Bookshop in Mendocino, Tangents in Fort Bragg, Dig Music in Ukiah, All That Good Stuff and Laughing Dog Books in Boonville; tickets are available online now at Brown Paper Tickets (www.brownpapertickets.com). Seating is very limited so getting tickets early is highly recommended.
This concert is a fundraiser for KZYX&Z, 90.7, 91.5, and 88.1 FM, the community non-commercial radio station of Mendocino County, serving several counties of northern California from studios in Philo, Willits, and Mendocino.
