It's Elemental! Movement for the Actor with Alison Henderson
In this class, Laban Movement Analysis will be used to create instant characters based on the universal element characteristics of movement. We will play with elements alone and in combination to create characters and scenes. We will learn tools for how to observe movement in ourselves and others for use in improvisation, cold readings and scripted work. Laban Movement Analysis is about observation and universal qualities. It supports other acting training techniques because it isn't a set of exercises, it is a toolbox of possibilities.
