PLAY LOW
Like mad scientists skillfully blasting recombined DNA through speaker coils, PlayLow brings together a vast landscape of sound, artistic style and cultural expression. Our impetus is the overwhelming desire to at least celebrate life, if not tear the roof off.
PlayLow is a collaborative musical project headed by Dutch transplanted, Asheville, NC based DJ and producer, Bowie van Ling (DJ Bowie). Co-creator and host of Asheville's Definition evenings. Four year Hall of Fame, winner of Best DJ/Turntablist in WNC. His releases include "Doin' It" on Skew Records Asheville Beat Tape Vol 1, and "Regroup" on Waveform Modulation's Archivus Mysterium. He's shared the stage with: STS9, Big Boi, Widespread Panic, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Shpongle, Dieselboy, Tricky, DJ Vadim, Richard Devine, The Glitch Mob, Prefuse 73, Eliot Lipp, and Eryka Badu. Performances include music and arts festivals: Moogfest, Bonnaroo, Pretty Light's Illumination, Trinumeral '08, 09, 10, The Echo Project, Luminescence, as well as hundreds of shows at venues spanning America and Europe over the last 15 years.

BRUTAL WIZARDS
Boy in Sleep and Motherhood of RBTS WIN are Brutal Wzards.
SAMUEL PARADISE
Samuel Paradise fuses organic, mechanical and electronic elements into his own unmistakable hybrid concoction of bass, love and mischief. A child of the late 90s underground DnB and Northeastern Jam and Psychedelic rock communities, Sammy P merges two world effortlessly with relentless independent releases on his net label and production company, Gauche VIbrations.
His music is melodic and at once disonant, hopeful and hypnotic. The echo of tape delays balance in beautiful contrast with arpeggiated synth lines, as rhythm loops swivel and sway.
He creates frequencies inspired from cosmic dub, trance, trip hop, lounge, glitch and house, the musical journey he weaves comes from and is intended to inspire appreciation for oneness, the noosphere, and consciousness expansion through music.
Samuel Paradise has shared stages with Sunshine Jones, Freddy Todd, Marley Carroll, Panther God, Boy in Sleep, DJ Icey, Aligning Minds, and many more in just the last few months. He was featured on Circuitree Record's release Asheville Beat Tape Vol.II, and is receiving remix support from some industry heavyweights on his recently released Tundra album under the guise of his alter-ego, Arctic Fox.
RAZOR AND BLADE
Razor and Blade, two producers from different clans, come together to meld their talents using only hardware to evoke a sound deep from the core of electronic dance music.
Asheville staples and true school regulators Joe Mattingly and Josh Naster join forces to create truly inspirational EDM. The impressive nature of their live rig seems small in relation to the talent this duo brings to table. Fusing DnB, breaks, hip hop, and jazz elemnts distilled to perfection and injected into your cochlea.
