Green Roofs for everyone!
Green Roof Workshop Thursday, April 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. A green roof is a vegetated roof system that soaks up rain through plants installed on the roof. Plants soak up rainwater, limiting runoff by absorbing rainwater before it reaches our streams. Green roofs absorb CO2 (a greenhouse gas), provide habitat, and keep structures cooler in summer and warmer in winter, reducing utility bills. Get the basics on green roofs and learn about how you can improve the environment, create habitat and save on your energy bills. Held at Clark County Extension offices, 1919 NE 78th Street. As always, WSU Extension workshops are open to everyone without exception. If you need additional assistance during the workshop, please contact our office prior to the workshop date so that we may make accommodations for you. The WSU Extension office is ADA compliant. 360-397-6060 x 0
