PERSONIFICACIÓN by Afterpop Fernández & Fernández
Active since 2008, they are part of a new generation of innovative Spanish fiction writers who depart from tradition to embrace experimentation. They have performed several of their text-based music and video pieces at Spain's prominent venues and international festivals such as Kosmopolis (Barcelona), SOS (Murcia), Cosmopoética (Córdoba), All Tomorrow's Parties (Zaragoza) as well as in Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
PERSONIFICATIÓN, the live session that established Afterpop Fernández & Fernández's prestige in the Spanish scene, is a striking, non-stop show with a humorous and pointed view on the production of identity in a time dominated by technological, consumer and media excess, where there's a certain glamour in nuclear power plants, love is corporate, objects create the identity of their owners, and lyrics and fashion work together generating a new form of poetry or maybe we should call it post-poetry.
