Eleven year old Laura Shultz is full of holiday
spirit. and nothing is going to get in the way of her
having a Merry Christmas. When her mother ships Laura
off to the desert, she must overcome hideous
relatives, oppressive heat, and a flawed immigration
policy to bring a Merry Christmas to Paradise,
Arizona.
