The Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra presents its April concert!
The program:
Mendelssohn, Hebrides Overture, Opus 26
Wagner, Siegfried Idyll
Bartok, Romanian Folk Dances
Beethoven, Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 61, Sam Fischer, soloist
The location: The beautiful Grand Lounge of the Ebell of Los Angeles. Note this is the uphill (north) portion of the building, not the large theater at the downhill end. Enter from the east or west side of the building near the uphill end.
The soloist: Sam Fischer has performed as soloist throughout the United States, Europe and Japan, and has performed with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Pacific Symphony. He is a member of the California String Quartet and is on the faculty of the Colburn School for Performing Arts.
Children 12 and under free with paid adult.
