Manley Benefit Concert and BBQ
A musical love story...
Phyllis Manley hails from Adams, North Dakota. In 1996 she met Curt in Rochester, Minnesota at a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert. Curt traveled with the Dirt Band helping with their merchandise operations for a decade beginning in the early 1990's. They hit it off, he proposed in 1997 and they were married in 1998. They reside in Independence, Missouri, Curt's hometown where they have facilitated acoustic jams for several years and have been avid supporters of live music. They currently have a 1st Wednesday Acoustic Jam at The Backroom Gallery & Codie's Cafe in Independence. Their love of music brought them together and has also forged lasting bonds within the local musical community that they have served so selflessly. Phyllis was recently diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. The bills will be overwhelming. We're coming together to help them. We hope you'll join us!
