misfits & hooligans

Our crew of misfits and hooligans includes toy piano, accordion, harmonica, viola, three double basses, electronics, and harpsichord ... all in one concert for Beyond Baroque's music series BEYOND MUSIC, curated by Veronika Krausas.

From two of Los Angeles' most visionary, genre-defying performance groups (Catalysis Projects & People Inside Electronics) comes a visually and aurally stunning live performance evening exploring new forms and hybrids of music, performance electronics, video projections, multichannel text installations, stop-motion animation, and more.

Performers include harpsichordist Arthur Omura, harmonica player Bill Barrett, accordionists Isaac Schankler & Daniel Corral, Aron Kallay on toy piano, double bassists Will Cravy, Teddy Gabrielides, Eric Windmeier, and violist Alma Lisa Fernandez with visual artist and poet Quintan Ana Wikswo. Music by Joseph-Nicolas-Pancrace Royer, Veronika Krausas, Isaac Schankler and Tom Flaherty.
