Getsome Athletics In Game Training

Getsome Athletics will be headed to northern California for an awesome training camp Jan 23-24, 2014.

This is the original team training and footage review derby training camp.

This year we have multiple ways to sign up.

Option One: Sign up with your team. Up to 20 skaters and 2 coaches get the benefit of learning together. THere will bea footage review session just for your team to learn how to take it to the next level.

Option Two: Sign up for this camp with a full line up, 5 skating friends and we place you on a team of up to 20. Your team creates a team name and then we play!! You will play with your pack every jam, get feedback and really develop some group skills.

Option Three: Signup as an individual. We will place you on a team and you will get to learn the skills and strategies throughout the weekend!

Heres what you and your team get:

1. Minimum of 4 scrimmages, 3 where you get immediate direct feedback about your performance each jam from Getsome Athletics coaches and the 4th scrimmage is videotaped with coaches watching and taking notes to share with you.

2. A video review session, coaches watch your scrimmage, take notes and relay that to you while you are watching footage of yourself play. This is a really awesome way to develop team awareness of team strategy execution issues as well as awareness of the next step in your game.

3. 2 on skates training sessions working on the main issues pointed out during the scrimmages by the Getsome Athletics coaching staff and video review sessions. You will learn how to fix the issues pointed out during the video review as well as how to capitalize on your strengths.

Officials Training includes in scrimmage feedback and learning opportunities. Your training will be both on and off skates as you will get feedback on your officiating the scrimmages as well as seminars designed to improve your officiating skills.

This event will have a minimum of 4 full teams and a maximum of 6 full teams. Sign up to reserve your teams spot today!

There is a Jr Clinic available Friday the 21st from 6pm-8pm at the same location.
