The In The Flow Festival 2012
This year marks the 5th Anniversary of Sacramento's In The Flow Festival. The lauded young improvisational music + art festival features jazz, rock, poetry/spoken word, electronic and blues this year. Dates are May 10-14, 2012. The In The Flow Festival, produced by area guitarist Ross Hammond and primarily musician volunteers, will return again to Midtown Sacramento this year, posting up over 35 music groups at four locations. This year there will be important jazz and improvisational musicians from Los Angeles (Vinny Golia, Emily Hay, Steuart Liebig), Portland, Oregon (Rich Halley), The Bay Area (Broun Fellinis, Darren Johnston, Phillip Greenlief, Scott Amendola, Lisa Mezzacappa), Grass Valley (Randy McKean, Murray Campbell) not to mention Sacramento and Davis (Ross Hammond, Tony Passarell, Alex Jenkins, Gerry Pineda, Harley White, Jr.), with many more to be announced, performing at:
Antiquite Maison Privee, 2114 P St. Luna's, 1414 16th St. Bows & Arrows, 1815 19th St. Phono Select Records, 2312 K St.
Tickets are $10 per day, and are available at the door of each venue. A Full-Day pass is available here for $30 (which includes an In The Flow T Shirt).
