Native Splendor in the Garden - Kenmore
Come be inspired as you learn about Cottage Lake Gardens, a lush natural woodland garden created by Master Gardener, Susie Egan in Woodinville, Washington. The garden, which is host to numerous spring and summer garden tours, is a lovely example of how native plants can be naturally incorporated into a garden landscape. Learn what native trees, shrubs, perennials, ferns and groundcovers Susie recommends that not only give the most beauty but also are low maintenance, drought tolerant, need no pesticides and provide food and shelter for wildlife. Susie will also share her favorite websites, books and places to obtain native plants.
