Solar Biophilia: Ecosystem Services for High Density Communities
The Architecture at Zero competition, sponsored by AIA San Francisco and PG&E in 2011, raises a number of provocative ideas about creating low carbon urban environments. At the core: how do we create high-density transit accessible urban landscapes that also meet essential requirements for solar access, and biophilic landscapes?
We have assembled an exceptional panel of architecture and urban planning practitioners to discuss the ideas raised by the competition, and real world case studies pushing the limits of optimal urban form. Please join us for an engaging evening looking at policies that will shape California's 2030 Zero Net Energy commercial building challenge moving forward.
