Cooking Class - Lentils for Health
The hands-on class will expand your repertoire and are for anyone curious about plant-based cooking. Attendees will learn about Sri Lankan dals, which are deliciously seasoned, hearty legume (bean)-based soups and stews, often with coconut milk. Class enrollment is limited to 15 people.
Class will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Chico in a spacious home kitchen in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Food will be served during the event, and no one will go away hungry. The class fee covers the cost of the foods prepared that day and all handouts.
The class is offered through Dharma Voices for Animals and Sky Creek Dharma Center and is the third class in a four-part series. The next class will be held in December and will cover ways to prepare tofu.
