SATURDAY: Members: $25, Non-Members: $50 This special registration includes conference events plus one guest panelist workshop: Duane Elgin, Grandmother Agnes Pilgrim, Tata Erick Gonzalez, Larry Merculieff, Barbara Ford
The Goal of the conference is to bring youth, elders, and all those in- between, together around a common vision for our planet. Together we will explore the question, "What gives us hope and heart to keep working on what is best for our Earth in the face of difficult changes? Ceremony, music, dance, and artistic contributions will enhance our educational focus. An outdoor ceremonial fire will be tended for the entire conference and we'll hold a Species Council at conference closing.
Elders from around the world, including Mayan, Pima, African, and Indian will share wisdom and ideas for action. Young people who are making a difference in their communities will share their hopes and visions for the future. In Workshops we will explore how indigenous wisdom is relevant to the problems and solutions of today. We'll offer educational, hands-on activities that focus on the connections between environmental and spiritual challenges.
Together we will work to help achieve a world-wide goal: registering 1 Billion Acts of Green.
